Mission-Vision Statement
Mission
Inspired by the virtues and values of Ven. Mother Francisca del Espiritu Santo de Fuentes, the community of Siena College, Inc., Quezon City commits itself to the integral formation of persons promoting a quality Catholic Dominican Filipino Sienan education.
Vision
We envision to be an innovative, relevant, and resilient provider of quality Catholic, Dominican, Filipino, Sienan education in the spirit of communion, participation, and mission.
Graduate Attributes
A Sienan is GOD-CENTERED
One who has a strong faith to the Divine Being manifested in his or her words and deeds. He or she lives according to the image and likeness of God — has intentions, shows willfulness and discretion, loves, communicates, testifies, teaches, and prays.
The main element of the design shows a praying hand, a cross, and a dove that symbolizes the Holy Spirit.
The color Red symbolizes “Love for God”.
A Sienan is a COMMUNITY BUILDER
One who can make changes that matter as long as he or she is
purposeful and consistent to foster trust and build strong relationships at every step of the way in achieving success. He or she demonstrates the ability to work with a diverse group of people for a common good.
The main element of the design is a hand with the seedling that symbolizes fresh start on life, positive energy, good health and a bright future. Historically the tree represents a sense of community, stability, and legacy.
The color Blue represents “Trust” and “Hope”
A Sienan is a SERVANT LEADER
One who serves and exemplifies Christ’s leadership as lived by St. Dominic, St. Catherine, and Mother Francisca del Espiritu Santo de Fuentes.
Servant leadership is a leadership philosophy in which the main goal of the leader is to serve. It entails a set of practices that enriches the lives of individuals, builds better organizations and ultimately creates a more just and caring world. It begins with the natural feeling that one wants to serve, to serve first.
The main element of the design is a helping hand which symbolizes the activity of contributing to the fulfillment of a need or furtherance of an effort or purpose.
The color Green symbolizes “Growth”. We help others grow and we grow by helping others.
A Sienan is a TRUTH SEEKER
One who seeks “veritas” (which means the truth) through assiduous study across disciplines.
The main element of the design shows a hand with an open book that symbolizes learning and knowledge.
The color Yellow represents “Enlightenment”.
